What Does Rabbish Rahli Sadri Mean?
This dua is mentioned in the Holy Quran to the Prophet Of Allah Almighty, Musa ( Peace Be Upon Him).
He asked Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala, for a big and great matter.
This occurred when Allah gave him the order to summon the most powerful, oppressive, and armed individuals who falsely claimed to be deities.
There are many other stories in The Quran about the Prophet Musa ( Peace Be Upon Him)
He prayed to Allah for some of the demands and objectives that would aid him in his vocation because this issue was one of enormous significance and peril.
Because prayer is the believer’s weapon for seeking triumph, bringing good actions into the world, and fending off evil, the servant requests his Master with complete faith in Him.
The Prophet (SAW) said, “Allah says:
‘I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me.
If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.’
Sahih Bukhari 7405
He began by saying: “My Lord, expand my chest for me”:
So that I can withstand all types of harm, both verbal and physical, and expand it with light, faith, and wisdom.
The assignment’s difficulty is transformed into ease, comfort, and happiness by the opening of the chest.
And His saying: “And make my affair easy for me”
This implies that everything I do, including the steps I take to follow your path, is made simple for me, including the challenges I still have to overcome.
The scholar, Ibn Saadi, may God have mercy on him, said:
Making it simple for the caller to access all matters from their doors, addressing each one with what works for him, and inviting him in the most convenient manner that results in the acceptance of his assertion are all examples of facilitation.
The most important means of calling to God is the ability of the caller to explain and make him understand by saying:
And untie the knot from my tongue, then they may understand my speech.
He aimed to be successful in this by speaking clearly, praising God in other people’s speeches, and molding their thoughts and feelings with his words of wisdom and his deeds of compassion.
And his request, peace be upon him, to his Lord to remove his (the lisp) from him.
He accepted the coal when it was handed to him and placed it on his tongue while he was a small boy living in Asiyah, the Pharaoh’s wife.
And he, peace be upon him, did not request that it be entirely taken from his mouth; rather, he asked that the consciousness be lifted and that he would realize what was expected of him, which was all that was required.
And after this, Prophet Musa asked Allah the following:
- And grant me a helper from my family
- Harun (Aaron), my brother.
- Strengthen me through him
- And let him share my task
- So that we may glorify You much
- And remember You much For truly
- You have always been overseeing us.
Surah Taha verses 29-35
