From hadith in Riyad As-Salihin
“How can I feel at ease when the Angel of the Trumpet, (Israfil, one of the four arc angels) has set his lips to the Trumpet and is waiting for the order to blow it?” the man asked the Messenger of Allah (SAW).
He (SAW) thought that this had stunned his Companions, therefore He (SAW) advised them to find solace in reciting: Hasbunallah Wanikmal Wakil.
Sahih Bukhari’s hadith shows that this dua was sufficient for Prophet Ibrahim (may peace be upon him). Ibn ‘Abbas recounted it and said:
Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) stated, "Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of matters," while he was being burned at the stake. Muhammad (PBUH) agreed when he was informed that "a vast army of the pagans had collected against him, therefore dread them." But, this (the warning) just strengthened his and the Muslims' faith, and they said that Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us and that He is the best for handling our problems. [Al-Bukhari]
